Before and After:
34 year old patient. Presented with supragingival and subgingival calculus on his LA and Type 1 mobility present . Patient pockets ranged for 2-4 mm with generalized inflammation. Patient shows sign of attrition and reports that he thrust his tongue towards his LA teeth. The after picture was taken 30 mins. after treatment was completed. Tissue immediately looked healthier and inflammation had decreased. patient report that he was very happy and a referral was given for a periodontal evaluation with his dentist.
Sealants:
11 year old boy presented with deep pits and fissure. Tooth was polished with pumice and etched with cotton rolls and sealant was then placed and intact. No bite adjustment was need when checked with articulating paper.
Arestin:
50 year old female presented with Early periodontal disease had pockets dept ranging from 3-7 mm. Arestin was placed on multiple site. After placement the pockets dept had decreased to 3-5 mm pockets.
