My name is Michelle Fernandez . Welcome to my e-Portfolio, You will learn a little about me and my journey in becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. I was Born and raised in Queens, NY, I have always been close to my family and my hispanic community. I was always taught by my family to help others and what better way to do this than by choosing the dental hygiene career. I choose dental hygiene as my career because I believe that a career as a dental hygienist will allow me to establish the right balance between my personal goals and a professional life. Becoming a dental hygienist has been a completely life changing experience for me. I am very grateful for all the challenges and struggles I have faced throughout this whole experience because it has made me a much stronger individual.
