Bio

My name is Yvette Santiago, I am a single mother to a lovely little girl named “Olivia”, I am a full-time student and hard working woman. I currently work at Dinosaur BBQ in Park Slope, I responsible for creating the desserts. I am a baker, I love my job, I am looking to further enhance my skills so I can get my dream job as a savory chef and pastry chef. I have been in the hospitality field for 9 years, I have done mostly front of house work, waiting tables and such. I was given the opportunity to be baker recently, I love it! My dream is to own my own cafe/bistro. I enjoy both cooking and baking so I would like to incorporate my culinary and baking skills at a nice cafe that serves breakfast and lunch, that way I can do both.
