I am currently in my second year studying Graphic Arts Production Management in City College of Technology in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout my first year I learned how to use programs like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to create many layouts, designs and artworks. I also got a chance to learned Quark, which helps me to see the differences and similarities between Adobe programs and others. Learning about all these programs helps me to familiar myself with what designers are using in the Graphic Design field, and also what situation Production Managers encounter with the above programs and the printers.

As a GRA student, I also got to learned that having a piece of work produced involves more than just creating the work and sending it to the printers. It involves choosing the right kind of paper, the printing techniques, the cost, the inks, the time, the shipping and many more. I am sure that there are many more things for me to learn,, so I am excited to continue my studies and use my knowledge in my future job.
