Hi, my name is Tanya Chan. I am a Chinese-American born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up, I’ve always been a people-person whom enjoyed helping my peers and others. I am a city girl, I spend most of my time exploring and trying new things in the city. I am a proud New Yorker and even prouder to call New York my home.
I stumbled upon the Hospitality major by accident and I fell in love with it. I am eager to learn all that I possibly can about the industry. I grew up in the hospitality industry, my distant and immediate relatives own restaurants. I hope to own my own franchise one day and take every chance and opportunity the industry and school throws my way. I fall more and more in love with the my major and the industry everyday. I truly believe that I am meant to be in the hospitality field, I yearn to learn about every aspect of the field and continue learning everyday.
