ENG 2400 Films from Literature D 562 Spring 2015
http://websupport1.citytech.cuny.edu/Faculty/fmasiello/index.htm D550 Fridays 11:30 – 2:00 This course will allow students to examine the relationship between film and their literary sources. Through classroom discussions and out-of-class assignments, students will analyze classic and contemporary literary texts and their cinematic versions. Students will examine the relationship between film and literature, with specific focus on the techniques used in fiction, drama and film and the influences of censorship and society. Students will focus on the similarities and differences of literary works adapted into films.
4801 Professional Internship: From Coursework to Practice
HUS 4801 provides students with a professionally supervised work experience in a human service agency. On campus weekly classroom seminars assess students’ progress towards learning objectives, explore student’s concerns and professional practice issues. The development of responsible and appropriate problem solving techniques is emphasized. During the semester there is a shift away from direct practice to areas of supervision administration, needs assessment, elementary program evaluation and resource development.

The ePortfolio project at New York City College of Technology “City Tech” enables students to create professional websites that will contain a number of their academic examples and learning experiences.
