Bio

I am a graphic design student in my final year of school. I got into graphic design because I didn’t think fine art would give me much of a career. I also wanted a career that would allow me to do something I enjoyed while also traveling. I didn’t really know what graphic design was when I got into it, and was surprised to find a real liking and passion for it. Throughout my schooling, I have developed many skills such as logo design, publication design, UX UI design and so forth. Most importantly, I learned how to use graphic design as a way to solve problems, making me an asset to any company I am to work for in the future.

As I mentioned, I have a passion for fine art which unfortunately I don’t find much time for anymore, however I don’t totally mind because I do have graphic design now. Otherwise I’m interested in the unordinary, extraordinary and the whimsical. I have a strong desire to travel the world, and I’m hoping that that’s what my future holds for me. I love film, music and food. And exploring new cultures overall. I am opinionated and honest and I have goals that I am totally set on achieving.

City Tech Printmaking Club

City Tech Printmaking Club

This club is open to all City Tech students, but was originally conceived for the students of the Advertising Design & Graphic Arts (ADGA) Department. We have formed to help bring traditional printmaking techniques back into the general awareness of our members in order to ground them more fully in the philosophy and heritage of graphic arts design and production. We work to offer informative lectures, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, and field trips for our students to explore all forms of printmaking, including but not limited to screenprint, relief, lithography, and intaglio.
