The Com­puter Sys­tems Tech­nol­ogy (CST) Col­lo­quium is ded­i­cated to pro­vid­ing the stu­dents, staff, and fac­ulty of New York City Col­lege of Tech­nol­ogy, the City Uni­ver­sity of New York, and the greater pub­lic with ac­cess to in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the lat­est de­vel­op­ments in com­put­ing from both a re­search and in­dus­trial per­spec­tive. We strive to sched­ule speak­ers that have a promi­nent in­flu­ence in the com­put­ing field and that can en­gage our au­di­ence to have a deeper un­der­stand­ing and pas­sion for com­put­ers, soft­ware en­gi­neer­ing, pro­gram­ming lan­guages, net­works, and other top­ics.

The Computer Systems Technology (CST) Colloquium is dedicated to providing the students, staff, and faculty of New York City College of Technology, the City University of New York, and the greater public with access to information regarding the latest developments in computing from both a research and industrial perspective. We strive to schedule speakers that have a prominent influence in the computing field and that can engage our audience to have a deeper understanding and passion for computers, software engineering, programming languages, networks, and other topics.

We are a non-de­nom­i­na­tional Chris­t­ian fel­low­ship of cam­pus stu­dents,fac­ulty and/or staff. Our aim is to help fel­low stu­dents meet their spir­i­tual needs in Christ through prayer, wor­ship and bible stud­ies. En­cour­ag­ing each one to seek their own per­sonal re­la­tion­ship with God, guid­ing and teach­ing also on the im­por­tance of the Bible through faith and fel­low­ship.Open to any­one who has ques­tions and/or wants to know more about God. For Freely we have re­ceived grace, and freely we wish to give it as well.

City Tech As­tron­omy Club mem­bers can use the 10+ Slooh tele­scopes to con­duct and par­tic­i­pate in live ob­ser­va­tion ses­sions through a web browser in­ter­face. Join the fun and have a blast look­ing at re­mote galax­ies, newly cre­ated as well as dying and ex­plod­ing stars, dark spots on Sun sur­face, rings around Sat­urn and craters and moun­tains on the Moon.

City Tech Astronomy Club members can use the 10+ Slooh telescopes to conduct and participate in live observation sessions through a web browser interface. Join the fun and have a blast looking at remote galaxies, newly created as well as dying and exploding stars, dark spots on Sun surface, rings around Saturn and craters and mountains on the Moon.

The As­so­ci­a­tion of Com­put­ing Ma­chin­ery is a pro­fes­sional as­so­ci­a­tion which looks to ad­vance com­put­ing as a sci­ence and a pro­fes­sion; en­able pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment; and pro­mote poli­cies and re­search that ben­e­fit so­ci­ety. The mis­sion of ACM @ CityTech is to pro­vide stu­dents with close re­la­tion­ships with in­dus­try and other stu­dents. To that end, we work on pro­jects, in­vite speak­ers, host work­shops, or­ga­nize trips, and ad­ver­tise ca­reer fairs. This club is open to all stu­dents, of all ma­jors. Stop by and say hi!

The Association of Computing Machinery is a professional association which looks to advance computing as a science and a profession; enable professional development; and promote policies and research that benefit society. The mission of ACM @ CityTech is to provide students with close relationships with industry and other students. To that end, we work on projects, invite speakers, host workshops, organize trips, and advertise career fairs. This club is open to all students, of all majors. Stop by and say hi!
