In this course, students will engage some of the key elements of the interface of language, culture and society. We will examine how dialects affect social standing, why some languages are preferred over others, why some dialects are considered more socially advantageous than others, and many more topics that you probably have encountered as a language speaker, but have never really thought about or questioned.

Writing Out Loud! Suzanne M. Miller and Sarah Standing (ENG 1101 and COM1330) This course explores effective and inspired communication through reading, writing, and speaking skills. Writing Out Loud! provides the space for students to discover and bring out the creative and innovative communicator within. Gen. Ed. Meanwhile, other countries like India, China, Korea, Japan have higher STEM employee of their population than U.S. In this technical report, we’re report the situation of few STEM job employee in U.S. and present a program that is affordable to all students and training for STEM career in order to solve STEM job under-represent U.S. population.
