Choose one tech­no­log­i­cal or sci­en­tific in­no­va­tion from 2015 or 2016 that you think will have a long last­ing and/or im­por­tant im­pact on so­ci­ety (e.g. ro­botic limbs, Ar­ti­fi­cial In­tel­li­gence, water de­sali­na­tion tech­nolo­gies). Ed­u­cate your­self about the topic by re­search­ing on­line re­sources (these in­clude City Tech li­brary sources as well as a num­ber of other re­li­able sources that we will dis­cuss in this class) and sum­ma­rize your find­ings.

Choose one technological or scientific innovation from 2015 or 2016 that you think will have a long lasting and/or important impact on society (e.g. robotic limbs, Artificial Intelligence, water desalination technologies). Educate yourself about the topic by researching online resources (these include City Tech library sources as well as a number of other reliable sources that we will discuss in this class) and summarize your findings.

SpaceX: SpaceX is an USA based aero­space man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pany. The com­pany founded in 2002 by Elon musk, who is also the founder of the on­line money bank­ing ser­vice Pay­pal and Elec­tric car man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pany Tesla. SpaceX is de­vel­op­ing two kind of rock­ets called as Fal­con 1 and Fal­con 9. But fal­con 9 is in the news re­cently be­cause of its extra or­di­nary achieve­ment in rocket sci­ence his­tory in last few years. Both fal­con 1 and fal­con 9 are launch ve­hi­cle which can be reusable un­like the typ­i­cal rocket ve­hi­cles we use in space mis­sions right now. Fal­con 9 is an un­manned cargo space ve­hi­cle to sup­ply goods to In­ter­na­tional Space Sta­tion.

Falcon 9 is an unmanned cargo space vehicle to supply goods to International Space Station.
