ENG 2400 Films from Literature D 562 Spring 2015
http://websupport1.citytech.cuny.edu/Faculty/fmasiello/index.htm D550 Fridays 11:30 – 2:00 This course will allow students to examine the relationship between film and their literary sources. Through classroom discussions and out-of-class assignments, students will analyze classic and contemporary literary texts and their cinematic versions. Students will examine the relationship between film and literature, with specific focus on the techniques used in fiction, drama and film and the influences of censorship and society. Students will focus on the similarities and differences of literary works adapted into films.
ENG 3401 Law thru Lit Fall 2014
This course examines literary texts that deal with issues of law and ethics.
My Projects
Our lab uses a variety of methods including, survey, dyadic analysis, interview, verbal and non-verbal coding, observational, experimental, and psychophysiological methods to explore people’s affect (i.e., emotions, moods, and other feeling states) in a variety of situations within and across cultures.
The K. Padmore Learning Center is created to help public school students reach their full potential in their academic achievements. We provide tutoring in subjects including math, science, English and history. We encourage students to participate in our program because we want to see them feel excited about learning.
