An intermediate and advanced algebra course. Topics include quadratic equations, the distance and midpoint formula, graphing parabolas and circles, systems of linear and quadratic equations, an introduction to exponential and logarithmic functions. This is a course in effective essay writing and basic research techniques, including use of the library. College-level readings are assigned as the basis for classroom discussion and for essay writing.

OpenStax Biology Reading Supplement
General Chemistry 2 Lab- This laboratory course is a co-requisite for General Chemistry 1210 Lecture. One three hour laboratory meeting per week and a total of 15 meetings per semester.
