LIB / ARCH 2205 ID Learn­ing Places SU19

This spe­cial top­ics course of­fers an in­ter­dis­ci­pli­nary ap­proach to in­ves­ti­gat­ing our built en­vi­ron­ment using a case study fo­cused on a spe­cific place each se­mes­ter. This course com­bines phys­i­cal ex­am­i­na­tion with in­for­ma­tion re­search and data col­lec­tion using method­olo­gies de­vel­oped in mul­ti­ple dis­ci­plines. Stu­dents from a va­ri­ety of de­part­ments en­gage in on-site ex­plo­ration and in-depth re­search of a lo­ca­tion in New York City.

We are a non-de­nom­i­na­tional Chris­t­ian fel­low­ship of cam­pus stu­dents,fac­ulty and/or staff. Our aim is to help fel­low stu­dents meet their spir­i­tual needs in Christ through prayer, wor­ship and bible stud­ies. En­cour­ag­ing each one to seek their own per­sonal re­la­tion­ship with God, guid­ing and teach­ing also on the im­por­tance of the Bible through faith and fel­low­ship.Open to any­one who has ques­tions and/or wants to know more about God. Bio­Med­ical In­for­mat­ics Stu­dent Club

The Bio­med­ical In­for­mat­ics (BIB) Stu­dent club ex­ists to ad­vo­cate, pro­vide sup­port and ser­vices to fel­low Bio­med­ical In­for­mat­ics un­der­grad­u­ate stu­dents here at New York City Col­lege of Tech­nol­ogy. We aim to as­sist stu­dents in gain­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties and dis­cov­er­ing in­for­ma­tion that is rel­e­vant and ben­e­fi­cial to­wards the de­gree re­quire­ment of the pro­gram. Through the ex­pan­sion of knowl­edge, work­shops, field trips and in­vited speak­ers, we hope to give stu­dents the op­tion to net­work and at­tain skills re­quired for classes in­clud­ing the in­tern­ship. This is a stu­dent-run club which is ad­vised by fac­ulty mem­bers, Pro­fes­sor Eu­ge­nia Gi­annopoulou and Pro­fes­sor Mai Zahran.
