JoshuaH30’s Profile
Broadcast, Graphic, Photography, Advertising, 3D Modeling and Animation
Joshua Howard went to World Journalism Preparatory School for Broadcast and Journalism in 2007. He won a hundred dollars for his depiction of the Negro baseball league from a stamp collectors club in 2010.
During his time in high school he entered a program called High School to Art School (HS2AS), in 2010. While he was in the program he learned about the real meaning of art. He finally understood that art had to be conceptual. There was a concept, a reason behind paintings and other mediums of art.
He soon began to express and develop work with a conceptual thought behind it. Using this method, a simple picture was not only that anymore; it was something to bring out a certain emotion from a viewer. The HS2AS program helped him to develop a portfolio for college, of drawings and conceptual installations. He went to the National Portfolio Review and received many positive reviews.
He applied for New York City College of Technology. The school does not have Fine Arts as a major so he decided to take Art Advertisement and Design. He is a multi-media artist. His work ranges from charcoal, pastel drawings, watercolor paintings, still life, and computer graphic design.
