Changing careers was a decision that I pondered for quite some time before deciding to take the leap of faith into an unknown destiny. As a young girl growing up in a low-income family in the Bronx, it was always stressed that I had to go to college. My parents had made the decision that I would major in Business, despite not having a college education themselves. I was not given much more guidance than that, but I followed their instructions, doing my best to make them proud.
