ENT 4499 Culmination Project FA 2020 – SP 2021
The senior thesis project, utilizing skills in an innovative way to develop a project that relates to the entertainment industry. Projects are developed through courses in the entertainment technology and/or emerging media technology programs. Projects require approval by the advisor and must demonstrate management, technical design and presentation skills. Documentation of planning, design and realization is presented to a committee of instructors, both in entertainment technology and related disciplines, as well as to industry professionals selected by the student and approved by the advisor. Though students enroll in this course during their senior year, development of the project should begin during the second semester of the junior year.

An introduction to stage lighting equipment and it’s mechanical, optical and electronic design. Hanging, alignment, focusing, maintenance and operation of various types of stage lighting fixtures. Field visits to New York rental shops or manufacturing facilities. Introduction to operation of automated fixtures and peripheral devices. Pre or Co-requisites: ENT 1103. 3 credits, 2 class hrs, 2 lab hrs

My Clubs
The Salsa Club was created to teach students how to dance salsa as well as bachata, merengue, and cumbia. We want students to have fun and let loose after a long and stressful class. Students will have a great learning experience and get a work out in at the same time! We are located in the Klitgord Center Gym Mondays and Wednesday from 11am-12:15pm and Thursdays at 1:45pm-3pm. The mission of the City Tech Women Engineers Club is to promote awareness and interest in improving the enrollment, retention and graduation rates of women in the technology programs at New York City College of Technology, as well as develop leadership skills through workshops, seminars and student collaboration. lnstitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering (WIE) student branch at CityTech invites all interested students to join the Openlab club. Joining IEEE WIE student chapter is optional. We provide support, information and resources to all members to help them succeed in their engineering technology field of interest.
