Building Tech 1 was my first architecture class. In the beginning of the semester, I found majority of the assignments stressful because I had trouble analyzing floor plans, understanding how to use a scale, and how to draw an axon, section and elevation. I refused to ask questions because most of my classmates seemed more knowledgeable and kept up with the work very well. The list of excuses goes on, but I realized that my understanding of architecture required more interaction with classmates who are knowledgeable in the subject, and also, my own independent study (note taking and drawing outside of class).

Overall, I came a long way and improved greatly, for the most part. My biggest strength is applying details into my drawings, even on a small scale, such as 3/32. My weaknesses include time management and line weight consistency, and I will try my best to improve on both.
