Professor Huixin Wu earned her Masters in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2008. She was an instructor at both New York City College of Technology, NYCCT, and Queensborough Community College since 2007 and began teaching full time at NYCCT in 2011. Her passion for education began during her first year of college where she tutored Undergraduates in Math and Electronics as well as High School students in Math, Science, SAT (math), and PSAT (math) for 6 years. She is a co-writer of Adpoting Technology to Tech Technology and currently a team member for the project “Building a Video Lecture Library and an Interactive System for Learning and Practicing Computer Programming Concepts” to create new teaching methodologies. Her background also includes certification in Networking from Stony Brook University and Web Design from Queens College.
Currently she is working towards her 2nd Master’s in Biochemistry to supplement her background in Electrical Engineering to achieve a Ph.D. for Biomedical Imaging with emphasis in magnetic resonance engineering technology.

Students are introduced to the application of calculus and ordinary differential equations to the modeling and solution of advanced problems in engineering technology. This course is coordinated with MAT2680 Differential Equations.
