The project also examines Japan’s export strengths in high-tech sectors, particularly automobiles and semiconductors, and the country’s strategic controls on critical technologies to safeguard national security. Additionally, it highlights Japan’s role in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), which aims to strengthen regional supply chain resilience and promote sustainable economic practices.
