Introduction to CAD working environment, basic 2D geometric construction and orthographic projections, utilizing CAD systems. The objectives of this course are to help the students to understand the basics of orthographic projection theory and through many hands-on exercises, to allow students to gain proficiency in creating the orthographic views, section views, and auxiliary views of various types of engineering drawings.

Living Laboratory Associate Fellows
This is a collaborative space for use by Living Laboratory Associate Fellows participating in the General Education Seminar, part of City Tech’s Title V grant-funded initiative A Living Laboratory. This seminar will concentrate on incorporating general education outcomes into our courses focusing on Kuh’s High Impact Educational Practices, place based learning, open pedagogy and assessment practices.
