Hospitality Management
My name is Cheryl and I am currently a College Assistant at LaGuardia Community College. I work in the testing department as a Test Proctor.I am currently a freshmen here at NYC Tech studying Hospitality Management. I am interested in this field because I love to travel. When I was a lil girl I always said that I would grow up and open my own hotel.
With this degree, I also am going to help my sister with her catering business.
My Courses
An overview of the history, likely directions and organizational structure of the hospitality industry and its role in local, national and global economies. Students are introduced to the nature and scope of the hospitality industry, basic terminology, management concepts, career path explorations and the department’s mission and culture.
