I’ve been attending citytech since 2006. In June 2012 I finally graduated with my associate degree in nurisng, a great accomplishment for me. I’m currently in the baccaleureate nursing program. I hope to graduate in two years so I can be more equip to acquire a job. Until then, I’ll be volunteering at a hospital to gain some experience. I currently work as a private tutor for ages 4 and upwards. I enjoy it very much even though it can stressful sometimes. I am a seventh day adventist. I attend church on Saturdays. I enjoy shopping, bowling, watching tv and going out with my friends.

NURSING CASE MANAGEMENT: Role and Process : FALL 2021 NUR 4030
This course focuses on innovative, integrated nursing case and care management models within the context of assessment, planning, collaboration, negotiation, and evaluation. The critical competencies and strategies in managing risk and legal liabilities, seeking and obtaining interdisciplinary support, coordination of services across placement settings, and client and care giver education are discussed. An emphasis will be on the strategies effective in the management of care for diverse populations in urban settings. Students will discuss functions and issues in evolving role demands, opportunities, and responsibilities of the nurse case manager. This course will be based on the study of nutrient constituents of foods, metabolism of nutrients in the body and their role in the human body. We will put special emphasis on specific health problems, especially those involving nutritional deficiencies. Through this course students will develop an understanding of the fundamental principles of nutrition necessary to improve and maintain health, to prevent illness and to provide support and therapy during illness.
My Projects
Students will use this forum to work on a collaborative project. Students will choose a scientific article and will work around it on a research paper. The option of choosing your own article is feasible, but only upon your instructor approval. Please, work on this project with a partner and the make sure all your contributions are made through this forum. If you still don’t have a partner, notify your instructor and I will do my best to pair you with someone. From this point on, your attendance will be monitored mainly through your participation on this forum.
