This is an advanced college course in communication skills that further develops your reading, analyzing, researching, and writing skills through literary and non-fiction readings and assignments. What you do in this class is not important simply for completing a requirement, as the skills you hone here will be integral to your success in your chosen course of study going forward.
Spanish for Heritage Speakers is an intermediate course intended for students who were immersed in or exposed to the language while growing up, but who have received little or no formal instruction in Spanish. Strengthens students’ competence in the oral and written standard varieties of Spanish by building on their previous knowledge to expand their vocabulary, strengthen their command of grammar, and achieve more confidence and fluency in speaking and writing while learning about the diversity of the Hispanic cultures. The skills acquired in this course will help reinforce students’ bilingual abilities and cultural competence.

This group project solely focuses on the interrelationships and interdependence between the Dominican Republic and other areas of the globe, including geography, climate, natural resources, population and demography, technology, society, the market, labor and employment practices, fiber, fabric, and apparel production, distribution, and consumption, and import/export trade policies and practices.
A website that has been constructed to showcase the development of Camila’s academic work that started from her freshman year, 2018 to her senior year, 2023. This gives employers a synopsis of everything that has been achieved successfully to receive her bachelor’s degree. It gives her the opportunity to prove to herself and her employers that she has grown academically and also personally in how her work has been displayed.
