As a Computer Operations major @BMCC, I started working at a neighborhood bar/restaurant in my hometown of Staten Island. Staying to work as a dishwasher for 1 year, earned more responsibilities as a prep-cook then eventually part-time entry level line cook once for a total of 3 years. During this time period I also completed a culinary arts certification at an independent college, the Art Institute of New York City by 2006. Since then, I have developed extensive experience in restaurant, hotel and catering kitchens from line cook to junior sous chef. At this point in my career, upon completing my degree, I look forward to moving onto a chef de cuisine, catering and/or hotel f&b manager roles.
