For the first week of this class I was nervous because I did not yet have an internship.  I had tried BTTIP but they told me that it was not happening this semester and I currently had a few applications out for internships in other places.  I was searching for jobs using several sites, AIGA.com, Glassdoor.com, Indeed.com, Barefootstudent.com, and others.  I wasn’t so worried when I saw that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have one but I knew that I would need to broaden my search if by the end of the week I got no results.  I asked around with some professors and friends and they said they would get back to me if they found a position.  A close friend of mine almost got me a position in the job he worked with but it fell through and I was back to square one.
