I am currently interning at Calling All Graphics Inc., a private company based in New York that specializes in graphic design, printing, and marketing. The president of the company is Marla Gotay, who has over 25 years of experience in the graphic design and printing industry. Her expertise helps create a supportive and creative environment for everyone.
At Calling All Graphics Inc., we work on a variety of projects that include designing menus, menu boards, direct mailers, flyers, posters, signs, logos, and brochures. This range of work allows me to learn different design styles and improve my skills.
I meet with Marla twice a week in the mornings through Zoom. During these meetings, she gives me tasks based on what our clients need. So far, I have worked on creating menus, designing menu boards, and making logos. I’ve also enjoyed designing posters to help promote our clients’ services.
Interning at Calling All Graphics Inc. has been an amazing experience. I am gaining real-world skills in graphic design and learning how to work with clients. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this team, and I look forward to continuing my learning journey and developing my skills in this exciting field.
