My first professional goal is to obtain a CASAC so that I could work in a non-profit organization that specifically addresses substance abuse issues. I would also like to join the NYPD Cadet program next semester to become an officer. When I join the force I will use the benefits of the force to pursue additional degrees. After that I plan on getting my master in Forensic Mental Health Counseling degree from John Jay College of criminal justice. I want to be able to work in a correctional setting and affect change in the lives of people who were incarcerated.
