Articulation of Maxillary and Mandibular Master Casts (Semi Adjustable Articulator)

1. Place a dough clay on top of the Semi Adjustable Articulator. Use the Grinding stone to create triangular notches on the Maxillary Master Cast on top of the Mandibular Master Cast.

2. Mount the Maxillary Master Cast on top of the Mandibular Master Cast. Place the rubber band around the Semi Adjustable Articulator. Use the incisal guide pin.

3. Heat sticky wax to attach both occlusion rims of the casts together (A pair of copper cylinder also helped the attachment).

4. Use the plaster knife to draw the midline, high lip line.

5.  Mix a bowl of dense plaster mixture. Place the mixture on top of the maxillary cast and close the Semi Adjustable Articulator with baseplate. Use  the plaster spatula to remove excess mixture. Let it stand till the plaster hardens.

6.  Flip the Semi Adjustable Articulator. Place the mixture on top of the mandibular cast and close the Semi Adjustable Articulator with baseplate. Use  the plaster spatula to remove excess mixture. Let it stand till the plaster hardens.
