This research project examines human resource policies within the workforce connecting to the LGBTQIA+ community. Within this project, one will be able to access scholarly articles describing discrimination individuals endure while working at establishments featuring jokes about one’s gender identity or sexual orientation. The project examines how many may feel when applying to an establishment having a fear of being rejected due to their sexual orientation or gender identity choosing to disclose information, with there being some acceptance of non-binary employees in the workplace, there are still challenges these individuals to face from other LGBTQ employees. Methods such as a survey were conducted to assist studies further.
