C0urse Description: From the end of the 19th century until the present, the history of fashion is surveyed. The course provides a summary of the several factors that have influenced the evolution of clothes. Analyze how the economy, politics, religion, and culture of a historical era affected the fashion of the day. Readings, films, and conversations are used to address issues facing the sector.
