I started my internship at Vartest Laboratories on August 23rd, 2021. In my time at Vartest I have learned about the many tests that are performed on different types of textile before it is able to be sold to consumers. There are many law and regulations in place, such as CSPA (Children’s Safe Products Act) which require manufacturers to test product that will be sold for child. Especially in the case of lead and fire safety.
I created mock booth to help the company prepare for an upcoming trade show. I also created a PowerPoint that lists out the prices and supplies they will need.
Important Work:
I have also written multiple test reports and created Excel spread sheets (such as Gantt charts), which I will not be able to show for legal purposes.
I did however create a sample report that doe not contain real customer information.
