In general, most papers can be improved by making the issue they treat specific. An “issue” is a question about what someone should, what policy we should have, or something like that. It is not just about what our beliefs, attitudes, or character traits should be.
Also, remember that your job is to convince someone who might apply your chosen theory in a different way to the issue you have chosen. This means you will have to understand the theory well enough that you can see how it could be applied in different ways to the issue at hand.
