A 4 years old pediatric patient presented with cavities on his primary maxillary anteriors interproximally . Patient and guardian were given oral hygiene instruction. Both patient and parent were taught Fones toothbrushing technique and flossing. They were advised to use Listerine on cotton gauze on gingiva to decrease gingival inflammation. Patient was polished and provided with 5% Fluoride varnish. Patient was referred to DDS for caries evaluation.
