My research question is How does reading affect the brain?
The message I would like to teach my audience is that reading has a big effect on the brain by improving thinking, creating connections, and making us experience things through words, showing how important it is for both learning and emotional growth. Using this information I will also discuss how this impact reading phsical book versus digital.
I consider to create Instagram carousel slides, which will make the information easy to understand and visually engaging.
The audiences I would like to reach out are teachers, parents, and young adults who spend time online and want to know how reading helps the brain and why it’s important for lifelong learning.
I will start by organizing the main points from my research. Then, I’ll divide the information into sections, like how reading affects thinking, senses, and emotions. After that, I’ll use Canva to create the visuals. Finally, I’ll write simple captions and extra text to make everything clear and engaging. Following the Instagram carousel, I plan to show that reading physical books is better than digital as it was mentioned in the podcast.
I’m concerned about making the scientific information simple enough to keep it interesting while still being accurate. I also want the design to look professional and fun, but I will have to learn how to use Canva and I feel like it will take time.
