“Nobody believes in you, you’ve lost again and again and again, but you’re still looking at your dreams, and review to yourself, it’s not ever until I WIN” -Les Brown
I’ve had multiple times where I’ve proved myself, and proved myself better than other people thought I was. I made myself better. I challenged them to a duel and decisively won despite their thoughts on how I would fare against them. One such example would be in games. Bottom of the leaderboard would make anyone think you were the underdog, but that doesn’t mean you can’t win regardless. Anyone has the potential to clutch.
It was this specific quote that helped me through many struggles. While this quote was very motivational, it helped me mature and realize you could apply this to multiple aspects, when it might be mundane like a game, or help you through life. This, to me, was inspirational. It was the driving force that creates struggle, and struggle to win, despite all odds stacked against you. There is no way you can count out someone as long as they’re still alive.
I agree with your unique perspective, that you can always apply the lessons and skills you learn from games, sports or other daily tasks to any aspect of life. You’re correct, as long as we’re alive we still have the time to do anything! A personal example for me would be my analytical thinking ability, I say it’s above average because i’ve always been exposed to media content, and school material that makes you think deeply.

You donâtâ have a story here. Notice that all you are doing here is telling me.
SO â You say âmultiple times where Iâve proved myselfâ but you donât SHOW me one such event!
