All about me in under 300 words! An elevator-ride introduction!
My name is Dr. Linda Paradiso and it’s a pleasure to meet you! As we ride I would like to tell you a bit about my talents and experience. I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner and board-certified nurse executive with more than 35 years of experience. As an administrator I have led psychiatric nursing departments to excellence in large urban hospitals. As an educator, my expertise is in psychiatric nursing and leadership. I teach in the largest public university system in the country. My research interests include how a just culture can impact patient safety outcomes and the power of trauma in the development of chronic mental and medical illness.
