On this site, I share my teaching and scholarly ideas and accomplishments with my immediate college community, with City University of NewYork, and the world beyond the University.  This space is also imagined as  a platform to create  alternative, or new  perspectives on language use, discourse research  and its true application. It is hoped that such work can  advance the way we understand and use communicative practices in our daily life, and in institutional, educational, and political settings.

But ultimately, this site is meant to serve my students. To them, my commitment is the strongest. All of my work, in some form, is devoted to one of the most important pursuits: that of enlightening the new generations, supporting the learning of all but particularly those who need equal access to education, thus aiding social mobility and helping build a fairer more balanced society: in access to knowledge and professional and economic achievement.
