Our team visited Prospect Park and between two locations. One is a noisy place, and the other is a quiet place. The first location that we chose was outside the park where the entrance is. It is near the crosswalk, and people are busy walking, chatting, and biking. We experienced that it was harder to approach people in the first location (noisy place)since everyone was busy doing their own thing. We haven’t gotten as much of a response compared to the quiet area.
For our second location, a quiet place inside the park, we noticed that people looked at our mood board and participated more. We set it up at the exact spot where the entrance and most people come, but we got a different response between the two places. It is easier to talk to people since their movement is slow, relaxed and calm. Unlike the crowded place where everyone is busy and fast.
