Our topic was about the healthcare disparities that exist in todays society. Some of the goals we hoped to achieve with our intervention were understanding the disparities and what neighborhoods it effects primarily, what are some of the current/recent legal changes that have tried to address this issue and how much of a real world difference it has made, and lastly we hoped to get real experiences written or otherwise that could be used to get a conversation started with the city officials that are in positions to address the disparities we learn about.
