This Open Lab site is for my section of ENG 1101 as part of the Learning Community with Prof. Julie Fraad’s ENG 1101 and Prof. Shahnewaz Rahim’s BIO 1101.

Open Lab is a much easier way to communicate with everybody than Blackboard since Open Lab works well on our cell phones (where Blackboard does not!). Most of the course materials are on Blackboard, but this is the place for Discussions, including the place to put your glossary words (with their definitions, and a sentence using the word), and other things as we go along.

One special thing on this site is the RSS feed from The New York Times science section. It updates constantly, so check it often — there are lots of fascinating things going on!
