Hello! My name is Kichelle. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I began working as a dental assistant in 2014. I immediately fell in love with dentistry. After working as an assistant for some years, I decided it was time to take the next step in my career. I was accepted into City Techs Dental Hygiene program in 2020. Although trying to become a dental hygienist in a pandemic was very challenging, I was determined to follow my dreams. I am very passionate about helping people restore and maintain their oral health. The most rewarding feeling is seeing a patient smile in the mirror at the end of an appointment.
My journey at City Tech was a wonderful experience. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with a variety of amazing people. Not only does being in the dental hygiene field help expand your knowledge tremendously but it helps you to network and build wonderful relationships. I look forward to my new career as a RDH and I hope you enjoy reading about my achievements.
