Hello, my name is Kimisha Washington. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. After dorming at Montclair State University for a few semesters, I transferred to City Tech to expand my career opportunities and put myself in a better position financially. I currently major in Dental Hygiene and I am very excited to grow in this field.
I decided to major in Dental Hygiene because I am passionate about helping people and making them feel more confident. I want to serve people in low-income communities with low-cost dental hygiene services because I feel it is important to help and serve my community. I want to help my future patients lead healthier lives, and I want to be able to provide service to others because it makes me look forward to coming to work every day and providing quality to my patients.
