By now you should all have your grids and levels well worked out with an exterior wall placed for location. The exterior wall will get modified as we move forward.
Our next step is to add some structural elements. This includes foundation walls and footings, columns and isolated footings, beams etc. For next class look to add the following to your revit files.
- structural columns (level 1 – level 2 as steel columns)
- structural columns (basement to level 1)
- Add isolated concrete footings
- Foundation wall (level 1 down to basement)
- Add foundation wall footing
- Test out your sheet layout again – does your building still fit?
