The project I’ve been working on with Michael Rothman has been going swimmingly. I’ve been working on the illustration aspect of it. The roadmap has been decided to be based off of a subway map since this is made for the students of NYC.
The subway for now is just a straight line up and down, divided in two lines with each stop being a key point, like a job or degree. The two lines, represented by a red and green. Red being the work line shows stops such as surgeon or nurse, while the green line, which represents academic, has stops like associate’s degree or graduate degree. The entire colour scheme is based on the NYC subway map, but I might have to modify it in the future if I cannot use the colour scheme. Writing this for later. Could possibly substitute the academic line’s green with the signature CUNY blue.
