Couple days have been so stressful. It’s heartbreaking to see what happened to my hometown, Nepal. Nepal’s devastating earthquake that hit Saturday is now blamed for at least 5,000 deaths. .
Finally today, I got to speak to my brother. I cannot even imagine what others are going through loosing their loved ones. .
Please do support us and donate if you can.
On March/09/2015, I got invited to Copper Hewitt Museum to test-drive the Pen, a high-tech device that resembles the most basic tool of design. The Pen, supported by Bloombg.com, enables user to collect objects from around the galleries and create their own designs on interactive tables. At the end of a visit the Pen is returned and all the objects collected or designed are accessible online through a unique web address printed on every ticket. These can be shared online and stored for later use in subsequent visits.
So far I have learned a lot from this internship. I learned how to take pictures that is required by the client. By going to so many events I also learned what to say to new people I meet, how to be patient when talking to Uniqlo’s customers. I have also learned how important is time management.
Yes, I have been performing clerical duties as well as duties related to my major.
Best thing about my intern is I can dress up whatever I want and also i didn’t had to go to office everyday. My work was all online and visit different events organized by Uniqlo.
Above picture is at event at Uniqlo Fifth Avenue organized for Kabuki X Uniqlo project. April/6/2015
Most of the time I have to work online. I model, take photos and also edit.
Wearing Kabuki T-shirt. You can also check on here.
My role is to work as Social Media Strategist. I am currently handling Uniqlo’s instagram account.
My supervisor is Saya Weissman. She is working as Social Media Strategist too.
I have been using my Instagram account for almost 2 years: tsetan_c. This was the platform where they noticed about me and my work and contacted me to work with them for one of their campaigns. This is the photo I worked on #whereUniqlo #SPRZNY
I started my internship on February 1, 2015 at Obviously Social. I work on Uniqlo’s Instagram account. Obviously Social was founded on 2013 and currently the office is located at 72 Spring Street. It is a social media marketing company [www.obviouslysocial.com]. They have worked with many very well known companies like BBC, Uniqlo, Espn, Mercede-Benz fashion week etc. The size of the company is 1- 10 employees.
Since my work is online, I don’t really need to go to the office. I just have to correspond with Uniqlo’s customers on their Instagram account. I work 1-2 hour every day, 7 days a week.
