The primary goal of Kathantra is to explore and uncover the mysteries of the world. Players assume the role of a character who begins with little knowledge of their backstory or the world’s history. The game encourages exploration, allowing players to discover and piece together the narrative through their own journey.
Exploration and Inventory:
As players navigate the map, they will find items that provide valuable hints and information about the world around them. These items can be stored in the inventory and utilized later in the game when necessary. This system empowers players to explore at their own pace while rewarding their curiosity and attention to detail.
Experience System:
The game introduces an experience system that serves multiple purposes:
- Health System: Experience points represent the player’s life force. If these points are fully depleted, the player perishes within the game world.
- Currency System: Experience points can be used to purchase items or abilities that may prove useful later in the journey.
- Energy System: During combat scenes, moves and actions consume a portion of experience points. Strategic management of these points is crucial for survival.

- Players can earn experience points by completing tasks, discovering items, and progressing through the game. Each action, particularly in combat, costs experience points, adding a layer of strategy to every move
