  1. One more time, what are the three parts of a thesis statement? (You should know this so well you dream about it!) The three parts of a thesis statement are claim, reasons, and strength.
  2. Where does a Thesis Statement belong in an essay? In the introduction/first paragraph , end of the introduction.
  3. What is a generalization? Why is it not helpful in creating a strong argument? Generalization is when a claim is too big or board. It is not helpful in creating a strong argument because the use of ‘all’ and ‘some.’
  4. Create a Thesis Statement for the following prompt: Are museums still relevant now that we have the internet? Museums are not relevant that we have the internet because we can search for various information and have accurate resources.
  5. Create a Thesis Statement for the following prompt: Is it okay to use family connections to get a job? It is okay to use family connections to get a job because you would get more sources/connections at work.
  6. Create a Thesis Statement for the following prompt: Is listening to a book (an audiobook) the same as reading a book? Listening to an audiobook is the same as reading a book because it gives a better understanding of a book, make you create a image better, and it is more relaxing than reading
