As of Spring 2015 I am a senior at The New York City College of Technology (City Tech). After High School I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life so shortly after I joined the Army Reserve with my best friend. After returning from training I decided to enroll in Queensborough Community College in their Music Technology program and graduated with a double A.S/A.A.S degree. I got into sound engineering but didn’t make enough money to make a living working in bars and clubs. I left the profession to become an EMT and worked as a dispatcher at a hospital. In 2013 I toured with the U.S Army soldier show, I loved every part of the experience from fabricating the scenery to touring on the road to working with the audio technicians. When I got back to NYC I decided to enroll in the entertainment technology program at city tech and couldn’t be happier. I’m always learning something new and finding new paths of interest in the entertainment field. I still can’t decide what specialty to pursue but I love everything about live entertainment from working at a shop to stage managing during a show.
