In March 2024 As part of a community service project, our group of eager students aimed to inform young children about cavities and how to prevent them at a daycare center in Brooklyn, NY. We did this by teaching them about healthy eating habits, proper toothbrushing techniques, and nutritional counseling. We also provided them with pamphlets that contain information to help their parents improve their oral hygiene practices, as well as small gift bags that encourage them to take charge of their own oral health.

In February 2024 As part of a school based event, we, as a program, provided free dental cleanings for children ages 5–13 in an attempt to give back to the community and educate young children and their parents on the importance of receiving regular dental care as well as establishing a dental home.
