Throughout this exercise I was able to gain an understanding on how coding can be used in real-life situation. In the first step of Tip Calculator, I had to identify the variable ‘meal’ to the price of it, as shown in the first image using an equal sign. The next step, was to identify the tax and tip, value using an equal sign, as shown in the second and third image. Then, we identify the variable of meal, meal plus the meal times the tax as shown in the fourth image. The last step and image was to put together the total of the meal including the tip, the meal plus meal times the tip, giving us the total of the meal, $54.63. This knowledge can benefit me when ask to code such measurements of currency.
